We are delighted to
offer this exciting tour of JERSEY,
especially for Thanksgiving.
Jersey is the most southerly and
largest of the CHANNEL ISLANDS
, loyal to the English Crown for many centuries. It lies 100 miles south of mainland Britain and only 14 miles from the coast of France. The mix of English and French culture, cuisine and heritage make the Channel Islands unique.

Thursday: Choose your
most convenient flight times and make your own way to
our hotel in St Helier, the island’s capital, where a
warm welcome awaits you. The hotel, which is one
of the Island’s most popular choices and has won many
local awards, offers excellent accommodation, and first
class leisure facilities, including the Aquadome
pool and fitness centre. Inside, under
the dome, it’s a subtropical 27°C with a water slide,
lazy river, cascade fountains and spa pools. The hotel
also has a kid’s club. Have a relaxing day at the hotel
and perhaps do some duty-free shopping in town.
This evening, we will have a Gala Thanksgiving
Dinner
(included) .
Friday: Our full day tour of the Island starts with a
visit to the JERSEY ZOO, world renowned
for its work in saving and breeding endangered species.
We then continue to GOREY HARBOUR
VILLAGE and the wonderful JERSEY
POTTERY (includes Richard Bramble’s famous
plates). After a relaxing lunch, we visit the
fascinating JERSEY WAR TUNNELS (used as a
German military hospital during WWII). Tonight you are free
to dine in one of St Helier’s many restaurants or at
the hotel.
Saturday: Start the day with an
optional short walking tour with our local guide. This
is followed by the included coach tour exploring the
WESTERN COAST
of the island. Spectacular scenery, fine sandy beaches, and the best preserved German WWII coastal defences will help make this a perfect day.
Sunday
: Again, make your own flight arrangements to best suit you. Want to make more use of the hotel facilities? Book a later flight back!
