See Scotland and Edinburgh at its most exciting time, The Edinburgh Festival! Included is a guided tour of Edinburgh with time to explore on your own.  Also included is a full day tour through the Scottish countryside, to the foothills of the Highlands, an area steeped in history, visiting Stirling Castle,  The Forth Bridge, The Trossachs, (an area of beautiful scenery featuring lochs, glens, and mountains), and time to shop at a large woollen mill.

The Edinburgh Festival is the largest Arts Festival in the World and the main event is THE EDINBURGH MILITARY TATTOO, a truly spectacular pageant staged at night in the grounds of  EDINBURGH CASTLE. It features a mass display of pipes and drums performed by the Scottish Regiments, plus displays from other countries invited to contribute each year.  Included are reserved seats for Saturday night’s MILITARY TATTOO.  Choose the early performance from 7:30 – 9:30 pm, or the late performance from 10:30 pm - 12:35 am. The late performance includes a spectacular fireworks display. Experiencing this extravaganza is truly unforgettable, and  many of our past clients have said it was the high spot of their entire time in the U. K.

The Internationally acclaimed EDINBURGH FESTIVAL AND FESTIVAL FRINGE is now in its 62nd year and attracts artists and theatrical groups from every corner of the globe to perform.  Every taste is catered for, including comedy, drama, musicals, dance, children’s entertainment, etc. …… the list is endless!  Indeed, many famous celebrities began their careers performing on the Edinburgh Fringe. 

Coach travel to and from Edinburgh is not included.  In recent years, most of our clients have preferred to make their own travel arrangements, to suit their individual needs.  We will, of course, have a private coach and guide to collect you from your hotels on Saturday and Sunday for your included guided tours.

For those of you who have been to Edinburgh and Scotland before, and perhaps do not want to take the tours, we are able to offer you the option of a choice of accommodation and tattoo tickets only.  This option is available from Friday - Monday (4 days / 3 nights), for each of the four weekends of the Festival. This gives you the flexibility for more free time to experience the wonderful Festival performances and soak up the atmosphere and fun of what the EDINBURGH FESTIVAL and FESTIVAL FRINGE is all about.
