HOLLAND IN SPRINGTIME
AND THE DUTCH BULB-FIELDS
Saturday 3 May - Holiday Monday 5 May
Flowers, windmills, cheese and clogs! They are all included in this tour to Holland in Springtime, its most colourful time of the year.
You will be able to explore the beautiful KEUKENHOF GARDENS, a 70 acre park, in the heart of the Dutch Bulbfields, where the very best displays of flowers from bulb growers from all over Holland are featured each year. Here you can see millions of flowers and plants, blossoming shrubs, etc., all set amongst magnificent ornamental lakes in these lovely landscaped gardens.
Our tour will also take us to the pretty Dutch town of DELFT, where you will have the opportunity to have a guided visit of the famous pottery, as well as buy some magnificent Delftware if you wish.
You will also see and explore one of Holland’s most picturesque villages, VOLENDAM – with its charming fishing harbour, on the banks of the Ijsselmeer, with its quaint little houses, miniature canals, and lovely selection of gift shops, this is really a picture-book destination. On the way there, we shall take the opportunity to pay a call on the local clog maker and cheese farm.
We shall also have time to visit the Cosmopolitan City of AMSTERDAM, for an optional canal trip, which is the best way to view its wonderful gabled buildings dating from its Golden Age of the 17th Century.
Our 4 star hotel for two nights is situated in a resort on the banks of the North Sea.
The bargain break has been specially designed to make the maximum use of your time and should truly appeal to the whole family.

WHAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE SAID ABOUT THIS TOUR...
We thoroughly enjoyed our first Gemmaway tour and look forward to enjoying more tours with you in the future. We were most impressed with how well run the trip was, allowing us to relax and enjoy it to the full. Our girls loved their first visit to Holland. We all bring back happy memories of our Dutch bulbfields tour!

A nice mix of group time vesus ‘alone’ time. We had a lovely time and Gemmaway made the trip fun and full of laughs and humour. Our driver was awesome too and such a great group! Thanks.

We really enjoyed our first tour with Gemmaway to the Holland and the Tulip Fields. The tour stops were fantastic and we really felt that we made the most of our time and money. We will definitely be doing another tour with Gemmaway.

The guide’s historical sketches are very well done – right level of details and very will timed and delivered – adds another valuable dimension to what we are seeing.
Kat & Mike Gayle – ACS Hillingdon
Enjoyed the Gardens and The Hague. Gemmmaway Tours fit a lot into a short time but you don’t feel rushed.
