St. Patrick's Day celebrationsIRELAND FOR ST PATRICK’S WEEKEND
Saturday 15th - Tuesday 18th March 2008

Join us for a long weekend on our exciting tour to Ireland, to celebrate the ST. PATRICK’S FESTIVAL in DUBLIN, a massive spectacle of street theatre, fireworks, international carnival, mischief and fun.

Saturday 15th March: Our route to Ireland takes us through some of the most beautiful mountainous scenery in North Wales. We board our ferry at Holyhead for our short cruise across to Dublin. This evening is free, so why not enjoy a drink and participate in some of the festivities.

Sunday 16th March:
After breakfast join us for a tour of Dublin, before travelling on to see some spectacular mountain scenery in COUNTY WICKLOW. Our tour takes us to the Powerscourt Estate, with time to shop at the Avoca Hand Weavers centre, and GLENDALOUGH,(a picturesque glen, with extensive ruins of the 6th century Monastery of St. Kevin). OPTION, Irish Dance Show: Join the group for dinner and a lively evening in a popular Irish pub, featuring some of the very best Irish dancers.

Monday 17th March: The high spot of our tour - the famous DUBLIN ‘ST PATRICK’S DAY PARADE’, a wonderful spectacle of colourful costumes, music, dancing and song, with participants from all over the world. Covered VIP seating can be arranged (opt.). The rest of the day will be free to enjoy all the other festivities, such as the Ceili Mor (where you are encouraged to join in with the music and dancing!).
